New Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui is aiming to bolster his attacking options by signing Rodrigo from Valencia, according to Cadena Ser .
The 27-year-old scored 16 times in La Liga last season, but his club have no intention of allowing him to leave easily.
Los Blancos are already seeking a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who moved to Juventus earlier this week.
