Napoli are preparing a fresh bid for Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian, according to the Daily Mail.
The Serie A outfit want to take the Italy international on loan but have already had one offer knocked back by the Red Devils.
Should they fail with their second bid then they will turn their attentions towards signing Tottenham full-back Serge Aurier.
 

Bournemouth closing in on Lerma

Bournemouth are in advanced talks over a club-record move for Levante midfielder Jefferson Lerma, according to Sky Sports.
The Colombia international, who handed in a transfer request last week, is closing in on a move to the Vitality Stadium.
The Cherries are set to pay £27 million ($35.4m) to bring him to the Premier League.

The Belgium international is set to leave The Hawthorns following the Baggies' relegation to the Championship and his own starring role at the World Cup.
He is valued at €19.5 million (£17.3m/$22.8m) despite having struggled for consistent form since his arrival from Tottenham.

Crystal Palace are closing in on moves for Cheikh Kouyate and Jordan Ayew, according to The Guardian.
West Ham midfielder Kouyate is set for a medical at Selhurst Park after a £.9.5 million ($12.5m) fee was agreed.
Ayew, meanwhile, will arrive from the Liberty Stadium, with Jairo Riedewald set to move in the opposite direction.
 

Kovacic turns down €60m Man Utd move

 
Croatia international a wanted man
Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic has rejected a €60 million (£53.4m/$70m) to Manchester United, according to Marca.
The Croatia international has suggested he wants to leave Santiago Bernabeu having failed to earn a regular starting berth.
But he does not want to move to Old Trafford, citing the team's style as being a bad fit with his own skills.
