Barcelona accelerate talks for Neymar as PSG plan to accept Coutinho in exchange

Neymar's future has been much discussed in the last few days,
with both Barcelona and Real Madrid desperate to sign the
Paris Saint-Germain forward, but reports in France now state
that he is close to a sensational return to Barcelona.

The 27-year-old departed the Camp Nou for the Parc des
Princes in the summer of 2017, but injuries and off-field
issues have blighted his time in the French capital.

It is claimed that Barcelona have accelerated talks to sign
Neymar, with PSG ready to accept a player in exchange.
Linked to this, PSG are reportedly in talks with Philippe
Coutinho.

The French media outlet report that there was a meeting a
few days ago between directors from both sides which
resulted in significant progress towards a deal being made.
PSG still want a large sum of money, but they are now ready
to bring Coutinho to the club in exchange.

PSG are still in the market for a goalkeeper and a full-back,
while they are also considering a move for Juventus forward
Paulo Dybala. As such, they want the money from
the Neymar deal to fund these transfers.

Real Madrid remain in the fight for Neymar, but they are far
from being as close as Barcelona and PSG are to reaching an
agreement.
