Premier League clubs have spent £922m and counting  with  just  seven days remaining until the transfer window closes. Yet for the first time in more than a decade, they look set to be  usurped from the top of the spending table by La Liga's  summer spree, which has already passed the £1bn mark for  the very first time. Vidal in, Vidal out at Barca

Barcelona and Sevilla have reached an agreement for the transfer of Aleix Vidal,  Sport  reports. The Spanish outlet claims the teams have been negotiating for weeks and have finally struck an accord on a deal worth somewhere in the region of €8.5 million (£7.5m/$10m), plus €2m in variables. The full-back is now expected to leave Barcelona's tour of the United States, while, coincidentally, Bayern Munich's Arturo Vidal is set to travel to Catalunya.

Forsberg opens transfer door to Liverpool, Arsenal and Roma

    The Sweden international has hinted at leaving RB Leipzig by airing his dream of playing for one of "the strongest clubs in the world"   Emil Forsberg has offered hope to the likes of  Arsenal ,  Liverpool  and  Roma  by hinting that he could be on his way out of RB Leipzig this summer. The Sweden international is under contract in Germany until 2022, but has suggested that a move elsewhere could be on the cards. Having impressed over the course of four years with Leipzig,  interest in the 26-year-old has been building steadily .   Leading sides in England and Italy are said to be plotting big-money moves, with Forsberg conceding that he hopes to be turning out for one of “the strongest clubs in the world” in the not too distant future.
